Mental health issues, including depression, affect at least 40 million of these people. Counseling services, and particularly Christian counseling, is in short supply. Suicide is the fifth leading cause of death and the number one cause of death for young people and is closely correlated with mental health issues. This is the only country where women commit suicide at a higher rate than men. Pray for:
1) God to call Christian young people to train and enter professions that provide care for this minority group.
2) Christians to minister Christ’s love to those who are hurting
3) For availability of resources and skilled counselors.
