14 Day Focus
Though they proclaim atheism, vast numbers of people in Northern Asia hold a Buddhist worldview. Many ethnic minority groups still strictly adhere to Buddhist beliefs and practices. There is no grace or mercy in Buddhism. Life, for the Buddhist, is a never ending and demanding labor of trying to achieve enlightenment, gain spiritual favor, and escape the pain of this life. There is neither assurance of a loving God nor hope for a joy-filled eternity in his presence.
Pray for:
1) supernatural revelations that will prepare ethnic Buddhists to accept the life-changing power of the gospel.
2) Buddhists who respond to the gospel to birth Church planting movements within their own communities.
